Round three began with a repeat of the previous week's fixture, as we took on Kercem again. Kercem had players returning to the starting eleven, but unfortunately suspensions meant that we were again very short of players.

The first half was very balanced, but in the final minutes before half time, Kercem's Brazilian striker, Cadu, was fastest to react to a poor clearance and finished well.

The second half started very badly for our boys and Kercem scored their second almost immediately. The team then produced a further 45 minutes which was well below par. Three more late goals made the scoreline much more dramatic than it should have been.

The only positive to take from this game was a debut for James Meilak who came on with 15 minutes remaining. We hope this will be the start of a long and successful career with the senior team. James is captain of the U15 squad and one of the most promising Nursery players.

The next game is next weekend against Ghajnsielem who lead the table and are unbeaten. We hope that you can come and support us in this tough game.
